First awarded in 1966, the Lester Patrick Trophy is presented annually “for outstanding service to hockey in the United States.” Players, officials, coaches and executives are eligible recipients.

In recognition of members of the radio and television industry who made outstanding contributions to their profession and the game during their career in hockey broadcasting. Selected by the NHL Broadcasters' Association.

Foster Hewitt Memorial Award AND Hockey Hall of Fame

The National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, in Commack, New York, the first annual induction ceremony was established in 1993. It is dedicated to honoring American Jewish figures who have distinguished themselves in sports.
