The New York Rangers crest has remained largely unchanged since its inception in 1926 - “New York” across the top complements “Rangers” stretching diagonally from top left to bottom right in classic blue, red and white - reflecting both the tradition and nostalgia of a time-honored Original Six club.

Steven McDonald Extra Effort Award
The annual Steven McDonald Extra Effort Award is given to the Rangers player who, as chosen by the fans, “goes above and beyond the call of duty.” The award has been given out since the 1987-88 season and bears the name of New York City Police Detective Steven McDonald, who was shot and injured in the line of duty on July 12, 1986.
1928-29 New York Rangers Game Program
In 1932-33, the Rangers won the Stanley Cup for the second time in franchise history. Team captain Bill Cook scored the Cup-clinching goal in overtime of Game 4 of the 1933 Stanley Cup Final against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

1994 Stephane Matteau Game Worn Skates
The skates that Stephane Matteau wore when he scored in double overtime of Game 7 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Final against the New Jersey Devils, which sent the Rangers to the Stanley Cup Final.
Rangers’ Victory Song Sheet Music
A long-standing tradition in Rangers history, the Victory Song was written by J. Fred Coots in 1940 as a tribute to the Rangers' Stanley Cup Championship team that year. The song continues to be played at Madison Square Garden today.

Rod Gilbert's game-worn jersey from the 1960s, when the Rangers wore their blue uniforms at home. "Mr. Ranger" made his debut with the Blueshirts during the 1960-61 season and switched to his iconic No. 7 for the 1962-63 season
