You can now review, change, and designate beneficiaries online.*
As a rule of thumb, you should aim to review your beneficiaries on an annual basis or when you’ve just experienced a big life event.

Change your password

Opt in to electronic delivery of statements and documents
If your plan allows, you may now change your contribution rates online through My Account. And if you’re 50 or older, you can make catch-up contributions up to $7,500 (bumping up your total max contribution limit to $30,000).
Contribution rate
Redesigned quarterly statements make it easier for you to review vested balances and account activity. The new retirement readiness score and personal rate of return features also give you a snapshot of how your accounts are performing and allow you to track your retirement income goals.
Digital quarterly statements
Based on your age, tolerance for risk, and retirement time horizon, you can set up your asset allocation (your unique mix of stocks, bonds, and cash) to automatically rebalance. Over time, allocation percentages will change as different asset classes outperform and underperform the others. And with the market being up and down so much lately, it’s an important option to consider.
Automatic rebalancing
Mutual of America’s mobile app provides you with the power to keep up with your retirement plan accounts from anywhere. You can log into My Account and view your account balances, investment allocations, personal rate of return and much more—straight from your phone.
Don’t forget the mobile app
*There are a few exceptions to these online features, such as accounts with a trust as beneficiary, and those requiring spousal consent.
