WORKPLACE
The National Safety Council was founded in 1913 to make workplaces safer. We’ve made significant progress in the century since; however, injuries and deaths continue to occur. More than 4,000 people died in preventable workplace incidents in 2020, and work-related, medically consulted injuries totaled 4 million.
That’s why NSC starts at work – where people put everyday strategies into place to solve problems. All employees deserve a safe work environment and to return home safely at the end of each work day.
