WORKPLACE
The National Safety Council was founded in 1913 to make workplaces safer. We’ve made significant progress in the century since; however, injuries and deaths continue to occur. Nearly 4,700 people died in preventable workplace incidents in 2022, and work-related medically consulted injuries totaled 4.5 million.
That’s why NSC starts at work – where people put everyday strategies into place to solve problems. All employees deserve a safe work environment and the tools to remain safe around the clock. They can then bring these safety strategies home to share with their families and communities.
