Guidehouse and Beast Code: Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Air Force Digital Engineering

Guidehouse and Beast Code created a strategic partnership to leverage Guidehouse’s acquisition subject matter expertise and Beast Code’s advanced digital twin and software expertise to best support the US Air Force’s (USAF) digital transformation. Beast Code is an American software development company based in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, whose industry-leading digital twin software is being rapidly adopted by the US Navy (USN) to enable a digital shipyard waterfront and is ready now to apply to both new and legacy Air Force systems. Beast Code developed an industry-leading, web-based application that supports design, training, and logistics for the USN, known as Beast Core. Using existing data inputs, the company has developed an automated process to convert 2D and 3D representations of weapons systems into immersive virtual environments. Every piece of equipment is interactive and may be linked to technical data and documentation. Beast Code’s digital engineering product line offers a revolutionary transformation for major weapons platforms. This technology uses digital twins to support every aspect of the weapon’s life cycle, including design, construction, training, delivery, and sustainment. Beast Code’s technology and Guidehouse’s program office expertise are working together to bring this digital capability to USAF weapons systems.

On April 28, 2021, Guidehouse briefed at the Air Force Material Command’s Air Force Digital Campaign event, “Getting Digital Smart,” a forum comprised of USAF Digital Champions, key players, and Program Executive Office (PEO) advisors. At this event, Guidehouse introduced our strategic partnership with Beast Code and presented our unified approach to develop and implement cutting-edge digital solutions while strategically navigating our clients through this digital paradigm shift. We collectively introduced two digital solutions: the Guidehouse Digital War Room (DWR) highlights our ability to deliver a single source of acquisition truth for Program Office decision-makers to proactively manage contracts, finances, production, and sustainment of new or legacy weapon systems; Beast Code’s Lightweight Digital Twin Viewer highlights our ability to communicate meaningful information to the user through an immersive three-dimensional environment structured identically to the physical layout of the actual weapon system.
