Frontal-Impact Tested
Graco car seats are tested to meet or exceed the child restraint criteria for frontal crashes under U.S. FMVSS 213b, helping protect your little one in the event of a frontal collision.
Side-Impact Tested
Side collisions are the second most common type of fatal car accident.† Graco car seats are side-impact tested under our rigorous testing program, including all applicable testing required by the new U.S. FMVSS 213a side-impact standard, and beyond.

Rear-Impact Tested
Our car seats are rear-impact tested based on the European Standard Rear-Facing Crash Pulse, even though rear-impact testing is not currently required under U.S. FMVSS 213.
RollSafe™ Testing Standard
We developed the Graco RollSafe testing standard based on the European rollover testing procedure, which our car seats are tested to meet, even though rollover testing is not currently required under U.S. FMVSS 213.
Extreme Temperatures
Graco car seats are tested for structural integrity in extreme hot and cold temperatures by applying the U.S. FMVSS 213b crash pulse, helping ensure the seat is strong enough to protect your child in extreme environments.
2X Standard
Each car seat is rigorously crash tested for structural integrity under conditions that mimic NHTSA’s New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), with approximately 2X the impact force required by U.S. FMVSS 213b, helping prepare the seat for extreme crash scenarios.
