DJ Javier introduced us to the Wilderness Youth Project (WYP), a Santa Barbara organization that connects kids from all backgrounds to the outdoors with programs designed to teach peaceful, respectful, and confident stewardship of nature—something we at Marmot definitely get down with. Marmot will be making a financial donation to WYP, and we hope you will, too.

Giving Back to the Outdoors

The team at Marmot have been longtime fans of DJ Javier's rad outdoor-inspired designs and community activism. With a shared interest in breaking down the cultural gap that exists in outdoor sports, we decided to join forces on a collection of summer gear born from this desire for inclusivity: People from all walks of life should feel welcome stepping outside to explore the world around them.
