In Situ Design, an interior design studio based in New York City and Brooklyn, has built a range of projects from houses to hotels, restaurants to dotcoms in several countries. Their work has won awards and been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Dwell, Design Hotels, Contract, Interiors, and Competitions Magazine. Our lobby is an echo of the building's past. In its day, 23rd 20th street was one of the first car parking garages in manhattan. Today the space synthesizes the industrial materials reminiscent of its former curved, structural ramps. Concrete, fiber cement board, perforated steel, sheet copper and exposed knee bracing recall the building construction of 100 years ago.
