Universal Orlando Resort’s water theme park does things a little differently. As you enter, you’ll be handed a waterproof TapuTapu, a wearable device that, if you tap it in front of a ride, holds your place in the queue while you’re off exploring until it’s your turn. And there’s a lot to distract you at Volcano Bay. It has four lush tropical areas inspired by Pacific islands, 19 attractions, a 60m volcano, one of the best beaches in Florida and rentable cabanas stocked with water and fruit. The cabanas are great for large groups as they have towels, a locker and a concierge service that keeps the food coming (fees apply).
