Set to shine in the Racing Post Novice Chase, Facile Vega will be out to impress on December 26 in Leopardstown.

The Paul Nicholls-trained horse won this race last year after seeing off Royale Pagaille and Frodon in its quest for glory. There is no reason why it cannot win again.

After winning on its last visit to Leopardstown in February at the Dublin Racing Festival, Galopin Des Champs returned to the track for the Savills Chase on December 28.
While the Mullins-backed horse struggled at Punchestown last month – coming third in the John Durkan Memorial Chase – the seven-year-old can still pack a punch but will be up against it with Fastorslow, Gerri Colombe and Allaho all in contention.

The winner of last year’s Jack De Bromhead Christmas Hurdle, Home By The Lee is the early favourite for its latest instalment.
The JP O’Brien-trained horse has not won since its last trip to South Dublin but can get the win again. Henry De Bromhead’s Bob Ollinger is also one to watch, but questions linger after its fifth-place showing last year. Although, it did win in Navan last month in the Railway Bar Lismullen Hurdle.
