WHY THE SUN?
The Sun has supported Britain’s families since its launch in 1964. Every month, it reaches 63 per cent of families (9.6million) with children aged under 16.

Why charities that help families?
Times are tough – 64 per cent of Sun readers are struggling to pay for groceries. More than three in four Sun readers are struggling to pay energy bills. More than three in four Sun readers are struggling to pay their mortgage or rent. Despite this, one in three Sun readers agree they have taken a more proactive approach to helping others since the cost of living crisis kicked in (10million-plus).
The Sun has always been on the side of families, championing them and raising the profile of issues that affect them for decades. Whatever your charity client focuses on – whether it’s the environment, health, sport or culture – as long as it helps families, we want to challenge that charity to flex its creative muscle and give it a chance to shout about its work.

How it works
News UK is inviting its agency partners to enter their charity sector clients, encouraging them to put across the story of their charity brand to an audience of millions through The Sun. This is a fantastic opportunity to tell a creatively led story free from typical charity sector ROI constraints.
Our panel of leading industry and Sun editorial judges will choose the idea they feel has the potential for the biggest creative impact. We will then work with the winning charity client to craft a multiplatform campaign with £100k worth of media and production. If you want to top up the budget to make the campaign even bigger, feel free!
