I CAN’T wait to go on holiday to Turkey in a few weeks, when I head off with Jet2holidays to the Marti Resort in Icmeler with my husband Lewis, daughter Frankie, 20, and son Louis, 13.
As fashion director of Fabulous, I’ve travelled the globe for photoshoots in exotic locations, so I’ve packed my fair share of suitcases!
But I do like to have plenty of choice, so I’m glad that all Jet2holidays include 22kg of baggage and 10kg of hand luggage per person.
I’ll be travelling in a designer sweatshirt, joggers and a cross-body bag, which will keep me comfortable and smart, from check-in right through to the coach to my accommodation.
Luckily transfers are included, so I don’t have to juggle luggage with finding a cab.
I’ve spent years fine-tuning my holiday wardrobe and still pack a black dress that’s older than my daughter Frankie, as well as the new bikini I treat myself to every year.

Why travel light when you can jet off in style, says fashion director Tracey Lea Sayer
I always take at least one pretty cotton dress, like the swirly one here, perfect for when I’m shopping at Icmeler’s markets.
I’ll pair it with a big basket for any treasures I might find and swap in a shell bag for nights out.
For dinner at Marti Resort’s Kapadokya or Terrace restaurant and cocktails in the Oriental Bar, I’ll be taking this gorgeous black and white outfit – the flouncy shoulders add drama, and a shell bag and thong sandals complete the look.

Pack a few show-stoppers for your evenings out
There’s plenty of space in my case for extras if I change my mind, and more outfits for exploring the local bars and restaurants.
For lazy days, a cotton co-ord like this green striped number is ideal for throwing on over my bikini and heading for breakfast.
Then I can hit the pool, and once the kids have surfaced, we’ll join in with the resort’s family activities.

Turkish delights … The beachfront Marti Resort has four pools, à la carte dining, daytime and evening entertainment, kids’ activities and a spa with beauty therapies
SUITCASE HACKS
ALL IN ORDER
I put in the heavier items first, like shoes and accessories. I take lots of sandals to switch up my looks. Then it’s my casual daytime stuff like denim cutoffs and peasant blouses.
DINNER READY
Evening looks come next, with the thing I want to wear on the first night at the top, so it won’t be creased and I don’t have to unpack everything to get to it.
ON A ROLL
Rolling clothes is better than folding, allowing me to pack more in; when I unpack, practically nothing needs ironing. I place smaller items like swimwear and delicate designer pieces into individual lightweight packing cubes, so they’re not damaged.
PACK YOUR BAGS
For hand luggage, I put my bags inside each other, with the smallest in last – from a big, colourful beach bag to a tiny, shell-embellished evening bag.
