Support for beneficiaries Integrated support connects beneficiaries with the Empathy app to help eligible participants with the practical and emotional challenges following a loss.2
Rehabilitation Support Employees participating in a rehabilitation plan receive an additional 18 months of premium-waived coverage.
Continued Coverage Even if we aren’t the disability carrier, NYL GBS Term Life coverage will continue, regardless of whether employees are unable to fully return to work.
Information collected from disability claims, trigger an automatic waiver of premium review (no separate claim required). Premiums are waived for 12 months, beginning on the first day of disability.
