OSS.Jack
Gives real-time guidance during preloading operations. Instead of relying on human judgment, the application applies algorithms to the jacking system data to guide the operator efficiently towards a safe preload level.
OSS.Lift
Makes operators aware of limitations of the jack-up by verifying the lifting operation's acceptability based on real-time data. It allows operators to unlock the full potential of the Mobile Offshore Unit. Designers can, for example, combine a jack-up with a larger crane without compromising safety.
OSS.Events
Digitizes and automates reporting so operators can focus on their primary tasks.

The OSS is about transforming big data into big value
GustoMSC, a designer and supplier of key equipment, is in a unique position to discover the insights that lie hidden in the data. Max allows us to condense these insights into OSS applications and other digital services that will benefit our end users.
We are proud to jointly develop tools that utilize big data to assist our crew in safely optimizing their offshore operations. This is a great example of Lifting Your Potential.

OSS is GustoMSC’s family name for a range of Operator Support System applications aimed at providing real-time guidance to the operator based on data generated by equipment on board.
GustoMSC’s Operator Support System (OSS) applications are a part of the Max ecosystem.
Max simplifies and streamlines your data handling needs, affording you time to focus on what matters most to you – generating actionable insights from your operational data. The OSS is an application layer built on top of the NOV Max™ big data and analytics platform. This platform allows real-time data to be extracted via edge devices. That data can then be stored in the cloud, where it can be analyzed and shared securely with clients.
How it works
Max is a holistic suite of solutions that analyzes equipment data at the edge and in the cloud.
User-friendly access
to all your data
Max Platform helps access and view your fleet-wide data, collaborate seamlessly, and facilitate real time decisions based on actionable insights with your crew at the wellsite and in the office.
Fast software deployment
Max's microservice architecture makes it easier to access control systems – making it easier to create new services and maintain them
Easily connect any
piece of equipment
Max's ability to universally translate makes it easy to import data from and export data to any piece of equipment.
Reliable data storage
The Max Edge solution brings sophisticated visualization and analytics capabilities to the field so there is no cloud-to-edge lag time.
OSS.Jack
Gives real-time guidance during preloading operations. Instead of relying on human judgment, the application applies algorithms to the jacking system data to guide the operator efficiently towards a safe preload level.
OSS.Monitor
Allows for condition monitoring or condition based maintenance of equipment such as jacking system or main crane. An example is jacking system fatigue life usage at the click of a button.
OSS.Loading
A weight management program onboard the unit and in the cloud for planning of offshore operations. Planning and operational crew use the same tool, reducing miscommunication and errors. Program updates can easily be pushed via the cloud.

OSS.Events
Digitizes and automates reporting while going on and off location by making use of system’s data such that operators can focus on their primary tasks.

OSS.Lift
Makes the crane operator aware of both crane and jack-up foundation limitations by visualizing the resulting crane operational envelope in real-time. The application ensures maximized usage of the crane in a safe manner.
OSS.Events
Digitizes and automates reporting so operators can focus on their primary tasks.
Safely unlock the full potential of your offshore unit
Real-time
guidance
Guidance for equipment operators based on real-time data to safely unlock the full potential of the unit
Remote updates
Most equipment on board never receives a software update during its operational life. The microservice architecture makes it easy to improve and update our services
User-friendly interface
The interface uses the most flexible HMI available: the web browser. That makes the applications highly portable. If necessary, data can also be pushed to the equipment HMI.
Reliable applications
OSS applications are supported by Max Edge, which even with intermittent internet connectivity is still fully functional.
