Partnering with clients on their digital transformation
journeys has taught us many valuable lessons.
First, no two client journeys are the same. Second, successful transformation — regardless of whether you are serving a customer, business or citizen agenda — is the product of strategic planning, shared vision and a top-down collective mission among leaders
Without a digital foundation and shared view of where you're headed, transformation can get messy. Working with clients across sectors and locations all over the world, we're uniquely positioned to understand the specific challenges you face and the way to deliver solutions with less drama.
Technology is evolving at lightning speed, which creates a sense of urgency that often leads to added complexity. The key is a clear vision and nimble approach to adapt quickly to trends and continuously innovate new solutions. Delivering growth and operational efficiencies used to be about short-term plans and near-term ROI, but now it’s a continuous journey that opens new waves or performance.
We’re excited to share this guide with you highlighting how we’re taking the drama out of digital transformation to drive value for your organization, customers or constituents, employees

Data as an Asset
We used two Smart Groups for the navigation elements in this piece - one for when it is closed, one for when it is open. What is a smart group you ask?
Smart Groups allow you to create grouped content that can also be sync'ed across pages. This way, if you make a change to the menu on page 1, it will be reflected in all of the other places you pasted this menu.
If you're having trouble clicking on an object, it may be locked in your layers panel! Hold "L" on your keyboard and then click on the object.
Pro tip: Use the keyboard shortcut "." to toggle the lock functionality.

Our "View Gallery" hotspot is simply an interaction that is showing a new Gallery layer group with all of the necessary hotspots and imagery as well.
Pro tip: Create a dark shape in the background of your gallery popup, and then change the opacity to 50-75%. This way some of your original piece shines through, but not so much as to be distracting.
Success is associated with growth and value creation. For commercial organizations, this means top-line expansion or an improved bottom line. For healthcare and the public sector, it means doing more to further your mission and support your constituents. Whatever success means to your organization, you need digital to achieve and sustain it.
Digital is a strategy and a tactic. It starts by understanding exactly where you are today and what you want to achieve and by figuring out the best path to get there. Guided by business objectives and technologies that add value, organizations that adopt digital are ready for the future and primed for continuous transformation.
Effective transformation is clearly not just about picking the right technologies and partners.
How you change your business and the steps you take to engage and support your stakeholders, customers and employees are just as critical to success. Achieving these values requires a digital transformation plan that checks all the boxes and incorporates compliance with ethical practices, engaging communication and organizational readiness as vital pillars to the plan.

In this experience we wanted more control over the look and feel of the arrow icons, so we added our own. In this case, we search the icon library for an arrow and then applied an "On Click go to next page" interaction.
Pro tip: the animation transition for "Go to next page" and "Go to page xx" are slightly different. Choose the one you like best!
To give the background image a subtle animation movement we applied a "Pulse" animation with a duration of 44 seconds, set to repeat.
Pro tip: try adjusting the duration and easing options of this image to create a different pulsing effect.
The Food Issue
Organizations are under increasing pressure to deliver innovative products and services faster than ever before. Yet, clients often tell us they’re hamstrung by outdated systems, underutilized automation and data silos that present major speedbumps on the road to streamlined operations, preventing them from moving at the speed of the market.
A modern, cloud-powered environment is the precious gem that automates processes and empowers leaders to speed ahead of the competition. It reduces operational and financial risks and creates a foundation for high performance growth.
We understand the challenges and benefits of cloud transformation better than anyone. When we helped Arcosa migrate and modernize its complex infrastructure and business applications during a divestiture, it gave the company a platform that enabled it to quickly pivot with minimal business disruption. Organizations that use cloud to modernize critical applications can reduce technical debt, increase flexibility and harness data analytics to drive greater insights.

Learn how they did it
“We road mapped and built a modernized hybrid cloud infrastructure to support our applications, data and services, and tested it extensively. We achieved that in six months, ahead of schedule and under budget…The results were outstanding, and our systems continue to run very, very well with room to scale as needed.”

Get DIAMONDS WITH NO PRESSURE
Today’s business leaders must be able to attract customers and grow employee engagement through digital experiences that make a lasting impression. Whether driven by market factors or competitive pressure, customers continue to expect personalized experiences and brands that consistently deliver on their promises.
Leading digital organizations create these interactions and connected experiences by staying customer-focused and using digital technologies that solve friction points, including data and AI. Today, organizations must also be mindful of how they treat their customers and their data. Many are willing to share their data for a more seamless experience with a brand, but they are quick to find another solution if that trust is violated. Same goes for employees: an unhappy or unproductive employee, whether at the front desk or back-office support, can create a negative customer touchpoint with long-term consequences.
By focusing on long-term loyalty rather than short-term gains, a modern IT environment with
self-service options and intuitive processes will help create engaging experiences that generate value. To make those experiences a reality, organizations must create a strategic roadmap for the enterprise to rally behind. It should include a tactical execution plan, so every employee understands their contribution.

The first wave of digital has been focused on the technology data: consistency and scale. All of these are necessary in creating a modern intelligent business, but certainly not sufficient for the visions global leaders have. In fact, the focus solely on digitalization can inevitably create digital splinters and organizational silos.
Today’s digital transformation is where digital leaders focus on value creation and agility. This is a big change in how that transformation is executed. It requires true change management, building bridges between internal silos and creating cloud-based
(often low-code), integrated, seamless end-to-end workflows to deliver automation
and an intelligent environment.
The entire industry has reshaped around this, driven by the C-level’s need to be competitive, and a rising bar of what exceptional customer and employee experiences mean. This transformation mission of technology, process and people also requires innovation and unity of teams under a common goal. Our organizations are all collectively headed into the cloud, and it will be a full team effort — from the C-suite and customer service reps to help desk support and facilities — to make that vision come true.

GeT Roses WITH NO thorns
Data creates the edge every business needs. Data leaders are more likely to enter new markets, monetize their data and invent new business models swiftly. And those who understand and trust the value of their data will be the winners in today’s digital world.
Most organizations are in the dark about their own data, which creates challenges that make it impossible to derive value from what is collected. Siloed data is hidden from a holistic, view so moving it to the cloud or across platforms for analysis is difficult. And though organizations expect actionable insights, success with analytics and AI requires high-quality, accessible data.
Leaders simply don’t have or can’t trust their existing data because of a lack of data ownership and governance maturity.
Confidence in data starts with the ability to remove complexity and seamlessly integrate data sources. Next is establishing strong data governance and security and reinforcing data accountability and ownership. Once organizations have the data they can trust, the potential and possibilities for using it are limited only by their imagination.
