Having previously served in business management and global account roles at SAP, BMC, and Siebel Systems, Dan has focused on enabling customers to achieve their business objectives and solve complex technology challenges. Prior to his career in software, he spent ten years in the Army, serving as a field artillery officer in various units. Alex Winter is a critically acclaimed and award-winning actor and director who came to prominence as an actor in movies such as Warner Bros’ hit THE LOST BOYS and the wildly popular BILL & TED franchise. Winter has directed several documentaries, including TRUST MACHINE, DEEP WEB, DOWNLOADED, and most recently THE PANAMA PAPERS for the EPIX network. He is slated to begin shooting the long-awaited third film in the BILL & TED franchise, BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC, in the summer of 2019.
RUTURAJSINGH (RAJ) MATROJA
Asst. Director/Federal Delivery Lead (Information Governance & Legal Technologies), Aurotech
Ruturajsingh (Raj) Matroja has led the Delivery and Operations team for Aurotech’s Federal Information Governance and Legal Technologies Department since 2011 and brings an expert level range of experience to his role. In a field that requires innovative solutions in a challenging environment, Mr. Matroja is responsible for ensuring that Aurotech selects, implements and manages complex software solutions tailored to the needs of each specific client agency. Mr. Matroja has demonstrated expert level understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workspace and industry best practices, which has served him well in his role as expert advisor on Aurotech’s largest and most complex eDiscovery implementations in the last 10 years, and as a subject matter expert at a variety of legal user groups and conference events.

Philip is the former Deputy Director of the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center and the FBI’s National Security Branch. Mr. Mudd appears regularly on CNN, Fox News, and NPR; lectures around the world on security issues and analysis and teaches courses on thinking analytically. Philip Mudd’s writing has appeared in several high-profile publications and he has written two books: Takedown: Inside the Hunt for al-Qa’ida and The HEAD Game: High-Efficiency Analytic Decision-Making and the Art of Solving Complex Problems Quickly. His third book, Black Site: The CIA in the Post-9/11 World, is scheduled to be published in June 2019. Mr. Mudd is also the recipient of several prestigious CIA awards and commendations.

Tim is the Business Development &Technical Lead for Aurotech’s Information Governance & Legal Technologies practice, with 12 years’ experience helping both Fortune 500 and Federal customers address their Records Management and eDiscovery needs. Currently, Tim leads the eDiscovery program at the Social Security
Administration. His expertise encompasses a wide range of eDiscovery, Content & Records Management, and BPM products, and he manages Aurotech’s partner relationships for the practice. Tim’s experience includes technical implementation, solution architecture, and product management.
Investigative Journalist, Pulitzer Prize-winning Author, The Panama Papers
Frederik Obermaier is a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist and book author living in Munich (Germany). He is working for Süddeutsche Zeitung - Germany's biggest quality newspaper. He has worked on several high-level investigations including the so called Lux-Leaks, Offshore-Leaks, Swiss-Leaks and Paradise Papers. In 2017 he was honored with a Pulitzer Prize for his work with Bastian Obermayer and the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists on the Panama Papers. His work has received accolades internationally including the CNN Award, the Wächter Prize, the Henri-Nannen Prize, and the George Polk Award. Together with his colleague Bastian Obermayer, Frederik has been named “German journalist of the year 2016” and in 2017, Obermaier was awarded the prestigious Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University. Obermaier is the author of several books, among others “Hooded Men – The History of the Ku Klux Klan in Germany” as well as the international bestseller “Panama Papers”, now a major motion picture.

William Adams is Senior Managing Director and head of the Ringtail business. Mr. Adams specializes in litigation discovery, database creation, and management and courtroom presentation technologies. Mr. Adams has supported cases in federal and state jurisdictions across the United States. One of his most notable cases was U.S. v. Microsoft, an antitrust matter involving the Department of Justice. Mr. Adams currently provides technical and workflow consulting for a major domestic pharmaceutical manufacturer whose review team number more than 500 and whose page count exceeds 200,000,000. Mr. Adams holds a J.D. from George Mason School of Law & Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from Northwestern University.
Chief Cybersecurity Technologist, DLT
As Chief Cybersecurity Technologist for DLT, Don Maclean formulates and executes cybersecurity portfolio strategy, speaks and writes on security topics, and socializes his company’s cybersecurity portfolio. Don has nearly 30 years’ experience working with U.S. Federal agencies. Before joining DLT in 2015, Don managed security programs for numerous U.S. Federal clients, including DOJ, DOL, FAA, FBI, and the Treasury Department. This experience allowed him to work closely with the NIST Risk Management Framework featured in this article, and to understand its strengths and weaknesses. In addition to his CISSP, PMP, CEH, and CCSK certificates, Don’s holds a B.A. in Music from Oberlin, an M.S. in Information Security from Brandeis Rabb School, and is nearing completion of his second Bachelor’s in Mathematics. An avid musician, Don organizes a concert for charity every year, and has been known to compete in chess and Shogi (Japanese chess) tournaments, both in person and online.

Will Fitzgibbon is a senior reporter with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), a non-profit news organization based in Washington DC. He coordinates ICIJ's partnerships with journalists in Africa and the Middle East. Will reported on ICIJ's offshore projects such as Paradise Papers, Panama Papers, West Africa Leaks and Swiss Leaks as well other investigations that focused on Africa, such as as "Fatal Extraction," a collaborative investigation with 15 African newsrooms of mining companies across the continent.
Director of Sales, Nuix USG
Al Nieves brings more than 30 years of professional sales and sales management experience to focus on the Federal, Public Sector, State & Local, Civilian, Department of Defense (DoD) and Intel markets. Before joining Nuix, Al served as the Vice President of Federal Sales for X1 Discovery managing their federal business growth and adoption of Security Manager by federal agencies, and was Director of Federal Sales for Guidance Software and oversaw rapid growth of its digital forensics, cybersecurity and e-discovery solutions during his eight-year assignment. Prior to Guidance, Al led Federal sales for E-NET and dramatically grew their disaster recovery, business continuity and database replication business. Previously, Al held several key sales and business development positions at leading companies including Computer Associates, HCL Technologies, and Zitel. Nieves studied Computer Science at the University of Minnesota.
