The Question of Perimenopause
Perimenopause is the transitional period before menopause. According to the North American Menopause Society, menopause is defined as "when a woman has missed her period for 12 consecutive months (with no other obvious causes)." While diagnosing menopause is relatively straightforward, determining whether or not you are in perimenopause is less clear. Our survey respondents opted into the survey to share their perimenopause experiences.
