Fuel Market Trends in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin
GREAT LAKES SPOTLIGHT:
The following visuals are based on data collected from OPIS’ MarketSharePro, MarginPro, and DemandPro. Market Share is the percentage of volumes sold by a brand within a given geography using OPIS’ visit count data derived from cell phone pings. OPIS has geofenced every fuel station property in the United States, and when a cell phone pings on the property of a fuel station, it is counted as a visit. All demand data comparisons use same-store data, meaning that a station is only used in the calculation if it had valid data for both timeframes in the comparison. Profit was calculated by multiplying average same-store monthly volume by the respective month’s average unleaded gasoline rack-to-retail margin. If you have any questions about the following data or wish to learn more about OPIS products, please reach out to our Business Development Team at retailbd@opisnet.com.
Here we've set up "On Hover" interactions to show the different stat popups. Pro tip: you can target an entire object group as the target of your interaction. This way, as you add new objects to that group you won't have to update the interaction.
Break your images down into smaller pieces to create nicely animated and layered effects. Here we applied a .5 longer delay to one of the assets to create a nice building effect.
