Orrick Scholars Program
To tap into the freshest legal thinking out there, we created the Orrick Scholars Program.
Professor
Chimène Keitner
Our inaugural scholar-in-residence, Professor Chimène Keitner, worked with our lawyers on novel questions at the intersection of cyber, privacy and international law. A Rhodes Scholar, Professor Keitner is the Alfred & Hanna Fromm Professor of International Law at UC Hastings College of the Law and is a leading authority on international law and civil litigation. Prior to joining UC Hastings, she served as the 27th Counselor on International Law in the U.S. Department of State.
If you’re interested in learning more about our Orrick Scholars, please reach out to Ellen Ehrenpreis, a partner in our Technology Companies Group practice, who created and oversees this program.
Professor Scott Westfahl is our 2019 Orrick Scholar. Professor Westfahl is the Director of Harvard Law School Executive Education and also teaches courses on problem solving, teams, networks and innovation within the law school's J.D. curriculum. While at Orrick, Professor Westfahl will draw on the best thinking in the fields of project management and team dynamics to help us work more effectively to solve complex problems for and with our clients.
