HR Connect — COVID-19 Incidents and Time Off Tracking
You can now identify and track submitted issues as COVID-19-related with the HR Connect feature in Paychex Flex. Scenarios include requesting personal protective equipment (PPE), inquiring about COVID-19 procedures, and requesting time off to care for a family member or child attending school virtually.
HR Conversations — File Attachments
Our HR Conversations feature is a helpful way for employees and leaders to stay connected and aligned, even when they can’t meet in-person. The ability to attach files can help leaders communicate effectively and reinforce HR decisions based on supporting documentation.
Performance Management — Peer Reviews
Keeping employees engaged and focused on results is critical, especially with distributed teams where they can become disconnected from leaders, each other, and the goals of the business. With the introduction of peer reviews, Paychex now offers a 360-degree performance management solution, including manager and self-review workflows.
Employee COVID-19 Testing
Through our vendor HireRight, Paychex will be offering viral marker (antigen) COVID-19 testing to customers through our Employee Screening Service. The program enables employers to order self-administered kits and provide them to their employees, who will self-test and return samples to the lab. The results are provided confidentially to the employee and can also be accessed by the employer through HireRight’s secure system.
Voluntary Benefits
Paychex Insurance Agency (PIA) clients can now offer their employees the option to enroll in voluntary benefits. Employees who are newly eligible, have experienced a qualifying event, or in an open enrollment period can enroll in Accident, Hospitalization, or Critical Illness insurance.
Device Integrations — Apple Watch® and Google Assistant™
With the rapid adoption of technology, further accelerated by COVID-19, employees will be at the forefront of this transition. We’re helping workers access their HR info easily without the friction of logging in through their desktop PC. Our latest integrations include:

Offers a streamlined way to organize and view emergency contact info for all your employees, making it quickly accessible should an urgent situation arise

Previously, customers using LCPtracker to meet their certified payroll reporting requirements needed to export a file from Paychex Flex and upload to LCPtracker. Through this integration, which leverages the Paychex Payroll API, customers can now automatically pull this data from Paychex Flex into LCPtracker
