The water supply will first flow through the CF filter (composite filter), which pre-filters the water to help maintain the life of the membrane and sets the system up to provide better water.
Composite Filter
The next step is the CB filter (Carbon Block), which reduces dirt particles and chlorine, providing crisp, great-tasting water.
Carbon Filter
Last, the water will flow through the RO membrane. The RO membrane is made of layers of micron-thin film wound around a hollow center core. This is where TDS contributing contaminants are filtered out and sent down the drain. For each gallon of water produced, less than 1 gallon of water goes to the drain.
