Widely recognized for building and transforming design brands including Design Within Reach and Edelman Leather, Edelman has championed enduring design, responsible materials, and sustainable business practices across the modern furniture industry.

Julia Raish is the head of sustainable buildings at Amazon. With a background in building science and urban planning, and a commitment to community and environmental initiatives, she has been instrumental in shaping the company's approach to decarbonization and climate action for their physical infrastructure.
Her work has been recognized with a nomination for the National Building Museum’s virtual Honor Award, highlighting her significant contributions to the industry.
ANTHONY GUERRERO
Anthony Guerrero is the Executive Director of mindful MATERIALS, where he leads efforts to scale the Common Materials Framework (CMF) and advance a connected Data Ecosystem for sustainable materials decision-making. With over 20 years of experience across nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors, he has led sustainability and real estate strategies at
Earthjustice and NRDC, advancing high-performance buildings and science-based decarbonization initiatives. He previously served as Chair of the International Living Future Institute and currently serves on the Board of VIBE. He is also an Adjunct Professor in Columbia University’s Sustainability Management program.
NICOLE DENAMUR
Nicole is the owner of Climate Aligned Law, a climate-focused law firm. Her practice is grounded in a rare combination: deep technical fluency in sustainability and hands-on legal experience spanning the full arc of the built environment — from design and construction through development. This dual foundation shapes how she approaches client work, bringing both technical and legal dimensions into alignment to drive deeply sustainable outcomes while managing the associated risks. Nicole's work includes compliance with building performance standards, regulatory guidance, collaborative lease language, and practical solutions that align with climate and carbon-driven goals and metrics. She teaches sustainable development at the University of Washington and in 2021 was awarded Honorary Membership by the American Institute of Architects in Seattle. In 2022 she was named Educator of the Year by the International WELL Building Institute, and in 2023 she was honored as an Outstanding Voice of Pride by the Puget Sound Business Journal.

Kathleen Egan is an innovator, entrepreneur, and champion for sustainability. She is the CEO and Co-founder of ecomedes the largest B2B SaaS platform for efficient, sustainable building materials. She has been a part of four venture-backed software startups with successful exits including ProfitLogic (acquired by Oracle), Revionics (acquired by Aptos), and flyswat (acquired by NBC). She serves on the Board of The 5 Gyres Institute, has a BS in engineering from Lehigh University, and an MBA from The Harvard Business School. She lives in Ocean Beach, San Francisco with her husband and son where they like to be outside surfing, biking, and skiing.

Daniel Poppe is a sustainability leader with extensive experience in clean energy, nonprofit management, and urban sustainability. As Executive Director of the Seattle and Bellevue 2030 Districts, he oversees strategic initiatives that drive building decarbonization, energy efficiency, and sustainable transportation. Prior to this role, Daniel worked with nonprofits advancing clean energy equity, salmon conservation, and transportation solutions. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of British Columbia and an M.P.A. from the University of Washington. Passionate about climate resilience and community-driven solutions, Daniel collaborates with public and private stakeholders to create a more sustainable and equitable built environment.

With over a decade of experience in the construction industry, Jen has become a passionate advocate for sustainability, transparency and the use of healthy materials. Holding credentials as a certified Interior Designer, LEED Green Associate and Living Future Accredited Professional, Jen has leading knowledge in emerging products, strategies and industry shift and champions the well-being of the occupants in the built environment, including the preservation of our natural ecosystems. Jen had the honor of serving as a board member with industry leading organizations such as USGBC and IIDA and is actively engaged in local and national committees that are creating positive transformation, such as ILFI and mM.
Jen’s company One Rejen Sustainability Consulting aims to elevate industry standards by providing expert guidance, innovative solutions. She believes by fostering education, awareness, and establishing actionable steps, we can (and will) create spaces that not only inspire well-being, but also serve as stewards for our environment.

Gayle is an Interior Designer focused on creating innovative, immersive, and user-driven environments. She has provided a range interior design services from aviation to healthcare projects. Working to develop and maintain the project’s design concept, Gayle is involved in overall coordination of the design process, from programming through detailed design development and project completion. Gayle serves as an interiors focused sustainability liaison between the Seattle office and the rest of the firm, assisting the team in how to track sustainable materials correctly and educating the group on making more environmentally friendly design decisions. Gayle serves on the local IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter board as the VP of City Centers, coordinating events and planning between the City Centers of Pacific Northwest.

Dominic joined Haworth in January 2014 as the Director of Technology and Shared Workspaces Business Unit. In this role, he was responsible for driving growth of revenue and profit margins. The business unit grew almost 300% in 2 years - achieved by executing a series of business development initiatives that expanded sales, discount management, improved quality and improved processes related to field sales education and training.
As of September 2019, Dominic accepted the role of Global Design and
Sustainability Director (GDS). In his new role he focuses on strategy and
planning of the development pipeline, new product development productivity, technology and process scouting, support development of robust concepts with sound business plans and sustainability team leadership. All of which include working closely with our global colleagues to ensure transparency and alignment of strategies, roadmaps, launch plans, etc.

As VP of Sustainability, I bring a deep commitment to sustainability and over 20 years of experience driving marketing and environmental initiatives in the commercial interior design industry. As Vice President of Sustainability at Momentum Textiles & Wallcovering, I lead our efforts in environmental stewardship, advancing sustainable product development, and continue to work to drive positive change across the industry.
KETIL ÅRDAL

CEO Ketil Årdal joined Mater in 2021. Prior to this, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at Europe’s largest office furniture manufacturer, Flokk Group. Before joining Flokk, Ketil held positions at Kellogg’s, Findus and Duni. Ketil is originally Norwegian but has lived in Denmark for the last 28 years, whilst working for international businesses. Additionally, Ketil has a Diploma from the Norwegian School of Trade Management (BI), including Business Programmes from the London Business School and IMD in Lausanne.
