The Lodge Building offers a gathering space for innovative thinking, networking and collaboration, with a great room, dining area, lounge, Treehouse suite and outdoor terraces.
Also referred to as the boardwalk, this 1,000-foot structure weaves throughout the site and around the buildings, connecting them and leading visitors to the lake.
The Council Building hosts multiple conference rooms, a café, offices and a unique interior web of corridors that connect each space to the landscaped center courtyard.
The Cabin is a living space that includes a living room, grand staircase, dining room and guest rooms with en suites. A patio connects the building to its natural surroundings.
The buildings feature glue-laminated timber construction and cross-laminated timber decking. “Glulam” is a stress-rated engineered wood beam composed of wood laminations, or "lams," bonded together with durable adhesives.
On display in the Lodge and Council buildings, Glulams are environmentally friendly to produce, are often stronger than steel, can be produced at custom lengths and provide a striking design feature.

Only 28% of the trees on the site were removed to accommodate construction, and many of them were reused in framing, flooring and other design elements.
For every tree removed, at least one new tree will be planted, and native plants and grasses will be reintroduced. Large boulders unearthed during excavation will be integrated into the final landscaping.
Studio Gang has created a carbon model and Pepper is gathering information to earn the credits required for LEED Gold certification.
Pepper is self-performing all the concrete work on the site, including hardscaping, foundations, cantilevered decks and the superstructure for the Lodge.
We are using CarbonCureTM technology, which injects CO2 into concrete as it is being made and keeps it from re-entering the atmosphere – even if the concrete is demolished.
