For more than 17 years, the Foundation has worked alongside marginalised and underprivileged communities, institutions and grassroots partners to help create opportunities that endure beyond individual interventions. Whether through education, healthcare, environmental stewardship or livelihood creation, our focus remains on enabling long-term capability, dignity and self-reliance. Increasingly, we see this work not only as social responsibility, but as part of building a more inclusive and resilient future in which progress is shared more widely and sustainably.
In FY26, Persistent Foundation continued to scale both the reach and depth of its impact, delivering 65 projects across Education, Health, Community Development and the Preservation of Heritage and Wildlife. Together, these initiatives touched the lives of 70,000 individuals and 600 families. We also enabled the plantation of 42,000 trees, reflecting our continued commitment to ecological stewardship and climate resilience.
What distinguishes the Foundation’s approach is not only the scale of programmes delivered, but the ecosystems we help strengthen through long-term partnerships, employee participation and community-led action. Across every initiative, our objective is to move beyond short-term intervention towards enabling durable capability and opportunity that can sustain and compound over time.

Employee participation remains a defining strength and a clear expression of Persistent’s culture of collective contribution. In FY26, 10,296 employees volunteered 11,683 hours across 70 activities in 14 locations, with 5,843 unique volunteers participating throughout the year. These contributions reflect a deeply embedded culture of purpose-led action that extends the Foundation’s impact beyond formal programmes. The year also highlighted the power of combining innovation, environmental stewardship and employee participation through an award-winning sustainability solution developed with Poornam Ecovision Foundation.

Education remained Persistent Foundation’s flagship focus area in FY26, reaching 37,512 learners through 29 projects across six locations. Spanning 18 study centres, 48 schools and four colleges, the Foundation strengthened learning ecosystems through integrated school development, scholarships, mentoring, foundational learning interventions, nutrition support, life-skills education and employability programmes. During the year, it also expanded inclusion-focused interventions for children and young people with disabilities, combining education, sports and skill development to build confidence, independence and workforce readiness. Together, these efforts reflect a continuum-based approach that supports aspiration, employability and long-term self-reliance.

Our partner organisation is associated with five organisations for the effective implementation of the Balshalyakriya project. The project ensures access to major surgeries for patients identified through the government scheme Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram. This programme aims to improve the overall quality of life of children by providing comprehensive care and early intervention for various health conditions. We support 15 highly critical neurosurgeries through this programme

Health
Persistent Foundation’s healthcare initiatives expanded access to specialised and life-changing care for underserved communities in FY26. Across 10 projects in 12 locations, the Foundation worked with 15 partners and supported 6,962 beneficiaries through cardiac surgeries, cochlear implants, facial cleft care, cataract surgeries, malnutrition support and community mental health initiatives. These interventions went beyond immediate treatment, helping restore mobility, communication, confidence and quality of life. From infants receiving life-saving procedures within days of birth to individuals undergoing long-term rehabilitation, the Foundation’s work reflects a commitment to healthcare equity, dignity and improved long-term outcomes.

Community Development
Persistent Foundation’s community development initiatives advanced long-term resilience across rural and underserved communities through water security, clean energy, livelihoods and environmental restoration. In FY26, the Foundation reached 23,623 beneficiaries across 179 villages through 18 projects with 21 partners. Key interventions included watershed development, biogas units, open wells, bore wells, solar infrastructure, livelihood creation and afforestation. Together, these efforts supported watershed development across 495 acres, created a water storage capacity of 257 lakh litres, enabled 350 biogas units and supported the plantation of 42,360 trees. These programmes are helping communities build more self-sustaining, resilient and locally owned futures.

Preservation of Heritage and Wildlife
Persistent Foundation’s work in heritage and wildlife preservation reflects its commitment to protecting the ecological and cultural systems that sustain biodiversity and enrich communities. In FY26, the Foundation supported six projects across three locations with six partner organisations, enabling the treatment and rehabilitation of 673 injured birds across six species, with 509 released back into the wild. It also continued to support conservation awareness, fieldbased wildlife rehabilitation and cultural heritage preservation. Though smaller in scale than other focus areas, these programmes play a vital role in protecting fragile ecosystems and preserving cultural and natural heritage increasingly vulnerable to environmental and societal pressures.

Persistent Foundation launched its US chapter in 2025 at the Nasdaq MarketSite in New York with an initial commitment of $1 million.
In the first year of our impact, we deepened our commitment to serving communities in seven states. Through 26 projects spanning Community Development, Education, Veteran Support and Environmental Action, the Foundation touched more than 1,700 lives, supported by over 450 volunteers who gave their time and energy to causes that matter. From donating refurbished laptops and hosting financial literacy sessions for women survivors through Project Shakti, to providing hygiene kits, meal support and essential supplies for unhoused individuals and veterans, each initiative reflected a simple but powerful belief: meaningful change begins when communities come together to care, uplift and empower. This growing momentum is now helping build stronger, more inclusive futures for those who need it most.
