Workforce readiness and engineering agility are becoming critical differentiators in enterprise execution and Persistent continues to invest in both at scale. In FY26, Persistent University focused on building the engineering depth required to support larger and more complex AI transformation programmes across industries.
With a strong focus on AI, cloud and digital engineering, Persistent University expanded readiness across critical technology areas while building deeper employee expertise through training grounded in the skills our clients require. Sustained investments in internal and partner-led certifications further strengthened Persistent’s ability to scale AI engagements across engineering, data and enterprise transformation programmes. This growing engineering capability has improved talent agility, reduced dependence on external hiring for emerging skills and strengthened execution capacity across delivery teams.
These investments received strong industry recognition during the year. Persistent University received the Economic Times Human Capital Award for Transformative L&D Leader and the Udemy Learning Excellence Award for leveraging AI to upskill and reskill employees. Persistent also received multiple honours at the TISS LeapVault CLO Awards, including recognition as the Best Corporate University (Gold), alongside awards for L&D excellence and employee engagement.
By the end of FY26, Persistent cumulatively achieved 30,000+ internal GenAI/ML certifications, 24,500+ hyperscaler certifications and 7,000+ GenAI/ML external certifications. This breadth of engineering capability enables Persistent to execute larger AI transformation programmes with greater speed, responsiveness and delivery consistency while strengthening collaboration across hyperscaler and partner ecosystems.
A key enabler of this transformation was the continued evolution of the Persistent Digital Engineering Academy (PDEA), which supports talent development across AI, cloud and digital engineering. Designed to align employee upskilling with organisational goals, leadership ensured that skill clusters remained tightly mapped to evolving business needs, while the platform streamlined skill tracking and certification. With 180+ skill clusters and modular learning pathways, PDEA integrated AI and domain training across certification journeys, enabling employees to rapidly build expertise and apply it in their work.
Engagement was fostered through orientations, workshops and success stories, while continuous feedback and real-time data tracking facilitated ongoing improvement, establishing PDEA as a sustainable framework for workforce readiness and organisational growth. PDEA has become an important engine for rapidly aligning engineering talent with evolving client demand across AI, cloud and digital engineering. This has strengthened deployment readiness and improved responsiveness across enterprise AI programmes.
