OCS BLUE & LOGISTICS VERIFIER TRAINING
About the Training
The combined OCS Blue & Logistics Verifier Training will equip you with the foundations of preventing resin loss in Operation Clean Sweep® (OCS) Blue and OCS Logistics, how each verification program works at the facility level, and what you need to know to execute an inspection on-site.
If you are registering to become an approved OCS Verifier, please ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria in the "Eligibility Criteria" tab.
After attending the OCS Blue and OCS Logistics Verifier Training, all eligible OCS Verifiers will receive a Certificate of Completion and be empowered to complete inspections for both OCS Blue and Logistics member facilities in the US.

Charlotte Dreizen is a Director of Sustainability and Environment at PLASTICS who joined the association in 2022 to lead work related to plastic waste in the environment, including its work on Operation Clean Sweep (OCS). Prior, Charlotte managed the American Institute of Architect’s net zero carbon commitment, ran recycling programs for the Washington, DC government, and educated companies on recyclable and compostable packaging with the Sustainable Packaging Coalition.
Charlotte is a graduate of George Washington University with a B.A. in International Affairs with concentrations in International Development and International Environmental Studies. Additionally, she is completing her master's degree in Urban & Regional Planning at Georgetown University in Fall 2023, with a focus on sustainability and solid waste. Charlotte is also a TRUE Zero Waste Advisor and produces a video series, “Unpacking Recycling with Charlotte”, with Waste360.
David Sandidge

David Sandidge leads a consulting firm specializing in the chemicals, plastics, and heavy manufacturing industries, improving performance in manufacturing, quality, supply chain, environmental, health and safety (EHS), and sustainability from plant, corporate, and trade association perspectives. David is a technical consultant with Operation Clean Sweep where he focuses on program management, continuous improvement, and development of the OCS Blue Verification program. He is a recognized expert in the development, implementation, operation, leadership, assessment/auditing, and improvement of EHS organizations and systems. David works with multinational, domestic, large, and SME chemical companies, third-party audit providers, and leading industry consultants and partners to provide conformance, compliance assurance, and sustainability solutions.
From 2009 – 2018, David was a Senior Director, of Responsible Care® and Value Chain Outreach, at the American Chemistry Council. His responsibilities included supporting Member Companies in their Responsible Care implementation efforts and collaborating with other international trade associations to develop and implement Responsible Care globally.
David worked for over 25 years at Eastman Chemical Company in a variety of manufacturing, EHS, joint venture, operations support, and sustainability leadership roles. He was Director, of EHS for global manufacturing sites at Eastman, including compliance assurance, auditing, site support, and acquisition integration. David was responsible for oversight of Eastman’s first collaborative recycling center with Waste Management.
David has BS and MS degrees in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from Auburn University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Quality Engineer. He is a Lead Auditor and has successfully implemented a variety of management systems, including RCMS®, RC14001®, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Process Safety Management. David was one of the first industry professionals certified by Exemplar Global in Responsible Care.
Please review the eligibility criteria to complete OCS Blue & Logistics Verifier Training below and ensure that you meet either option one or two for both Professional Experience and Knowledge of Management Systems.
Professional Experience
Option 1: Successful attainment of the rank “Provisional Auditor” or “Lead Auditor” in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and/or RCMS®/RC 14001®, as well as a minimum of one year of employment or as a contractor with an ASP.
Option 2: A proven track record as an independent consultant in environmental, health, and safety management systems within the manufacturing, chemical, or plastics industries with at least four years of experience.
Knowledge of Management Systems
Option 1: Successful completion of a training course on conformance auditing of management systems for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and/or RCMS®/RC 14001®.
Option 2: Certification by Exemplar Global for ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and/or Responsible Care®.

Stephanie Didier is a Sustainability Program Coordinator at PLASTICS who joined the association in 2024 to assist with work on Operation Clean Sweep (OCS). Before joining PLASTICS, Stephanie completed a year long fellowship at the National Parks Service, working at the national level to improve park planning as it relates to sustainability and operational efficiency. Stephanie is a recent graduate of Davidson College with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and English. Her interdisciplinary experience includes environmental communications, stakeholder engagement, and content development.
