2024 Supporters
We strive to engage with representatives from all segments of the bioplastics industry to help amplify the messaging of Bioplastics Week. These Supporters are companies and organizations that collaborate with the Bioplastics Division on educational content creation and develop content of their own to share throughout the week. They also broaden the scope of this campaign by encouraging their network of peers to participate.
To participate, follow the event hashtag #BioplasticsWeek.
Post, like, and share content throughout the week!
PLASTICS’ Bioplastics Division will host the 10th-annual Bioplastics Week from October 20 - 26, 2025. This is a social media campaign created to increase visibility for bioplastics by driving digital conversations via social media posts that feature materials such as infographics, reports, blog posts, and videos. Having multiple industry representatives post using the uniting hashtag, #BioplasticsWeek, allows for this messaging to reach a much larger audience than would be possible through individual posts.
10th Annual Bioplastics Week
In 2023, our messaging, and that of other participants, reached over 2 million viewers! We encourage all that are within or are impacted by the bioplastics industry to participate this year to grow this reach even more.
Campaign Reach
Join in by sharing what you know about bioplastics! Use both company and individual accounts to share content about all things bioplastics. Use the hashtag #BioplasticsWeek and tag PLASTICS! Posts can include educational content about material or product innovations, applications for bioplastics, barriers and opportunities for growth, how to dispose of bioplastic products properly to keep them in the circular economy…the list goes on!
How to Participate
Follow the hashtag on #BioplasticsWeek LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook to learn about bioplastics!
