We are delighted to announce that our inaugural #PlumeStrong Gala Dinner was a success. We reached our fundraising goal for the event with donations totaling $413,700. The funds will benefit the Ron Brown Scholar Program and the newly launched Ron Brown Venture Lab dedicated to helping Black founders secure the resources needed to launch and grow their entrepreneurial ventures.

#PlumeStrong ambassador and ultracyclist Marko Baloh has successfully broken the world record in the 1000 km Outdoor track time trial on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the Polena Hippodrome in Lenart, Slovenia. Baloh completed the 1000 km distance in an impressive time of 29 hours 31 minutes 34 seconds, surpassing the previous record of 31 hours, 23 minutes, and 1 second, set by Francisco V. Rodriguez from Spain. Congratulations!

We are delighted to announce that our #PlumeStrong Gala Philanthropic Dinner was a success and we have reached our fundraising goal. $413,700 was raised in support of the Ron Brown Scholar Program fund and the Ron Brown Venture Lab. The funds we raised will be donated to the newly launched RBS Venture Lab - dedicated to helping Black founders secure the resources needed to launch and grow their ventures. #PlumeStrong initiative launched during the pandemic, promoting health & wellness through challenges. "Go the Distance for Social Distance" challenge included 62 participants covering 5,000 km on foot and bike, emphasizing physical and mental well-being of Plume employees.

#PlumeStrong Cycling Challenge (#PSCC21) kicks off, where 33 Plumians cycled from our Zurich office to our Ljubljana office. Funds, collected during the very first #PSCC, were donated to Zveza Prijateljev Mladine Slovenije and Ron Brown Scholar Program. Each rider and each km ridden was sponsored by fellow Plumians on and off the course, resulting in $70,000 raised as teammates encouraged each other across the finish line every day.
First #PSCC event
For #PSCC22 we partnered with Street Child and Tadej Pogačar for the first time. Thanks to #PSCC22, Street Child was able to run a six-month pilot program for Ukrainian refugees who could not return to school in person. Plume also became Street Child’s first technology partner in Ukraine. We equipped children’s Inclusive Learning Hubs in Ukraine and Moldova with technology resources, including internet subscriptions, routers, and devices.
Pedaling for Progress
#PSCC23 edition was our toughest one yet - proving more challenging for our riders than the previous two editions. We did not only push our riders to be stronger, but we also increased our fundraising goals and we managed to surpass them, raising over €550,000 and donating them through Street Child to provide much-needed educational support for children affected by the Turkey-Syria earthquake. With a track record of success, #PlumeStrong remains steadfast in its mission to make a tangible difference in communities worldwide. With #PSCC24 we have raised €610,000. We are still aiming to raise €1,000,000 with #PlumeStrong in 2024.

#PlumeStrong was created during the pandemic to make sure our employees stay healthy.
#PlumeStrong History
#PlumeStrong initiative launched during the pandemic, promoting health & wellness through challenges. "Go the Distance for Social Distance" challenge sees 62 participants covering 5,000 km on foot and bike, emphasizing physical and mental well-being of Plume employees.
#PSCC23 edition was our toughest one yet - proving more challenging for our riders than the previous two editions. We did not only push our riders to be stronger, but we also increased our fundraising goals and we managed to surpass them, raising over €550,000 to provide much-needed educational support for children affected by the Turkey-Syria earthquake Through the support of our riders, partners, and all of our generous donors #PlumeStrong is building a school in one of the most impacted regions in the area.

Past initiatives
Our teams took part in the Global Clean Up initiative on Earth Day, demonstrating their commitment to environmental stewardship. Together, we worked within local communities, picking up litter and promoting a cleaner planet for all. Our participation reflects Plume's dedication to corporate social responsibility, inspiring positive change.
