Point B assessed that a lack of communication, transparency, and shared ways of working across teams was reducing efficiency and accuracy. We evaluated the organization’s current processes and created a workstream playbook with recommendations for removing barriers and building repeatable processes using Agile methodologies.
The Opportunity
Our Approach
During the project, pilot teams fully adopted the new processes, benefiting from increased communication and collaboration with support from technology and self-serve documentation. Using Point B’s clear, easy-to-reference workstream playbooks, our client is extending Agile methodology across other parts of their organization, resulting in increased end-to-end visibility, improved workflow, greater collaboration, increased stakeholder buy-in, and streamlined toolset integration.

Setting client leaders up for success
We worked in the background, educating and empowering internal leadership to serve as face of the project. In our roles as coaches and advisors, we held regular sessions, preparing all the materials needed
to help leadership make continued progress.
Understanding the baseline
Our team focused on listening and understanding to ensure right fit approaches and recommendations for our client’s unique conditions. After learning about current state processes across seven cross-functional teams, we developed an iterative rollout plan to test Agile
ways of working.
Ensuring successful adoption
True Agile transformation requires ongoing commitment and buy-in at every level of the organization, which is often challenged by ingrained program management thinking. To help teams embrace new approaches, we introduced change management best practices, refined and documented processes, and established clear messaging. A workstream playbook gave our client a repeatable model that could be relied on to extend Agile across other parts of the business.
