• Create a centralized facility database to document information on energy use and facility specs • Standardize data formats, units, and measurement protocols
• Measure fuel consumption for commonly overlooked fleet and equipment assets like generators and off-road vehicles (such as determining which part of fuel purchases are for generators)
• Ask technology provider for templates on each emission source • Use templates to identify required data elements, assess current availability, and drive system & process changes
