Located an hour outside of Tokyo by train, people flock to Karuizawa, Japan for its serene, natural beauty. Take in the Mount Asama views as you stroll down walking paths, relax in one of the town’s many hot springs, and enjoy the serene gardens at the temples. The region is also a major producer of buckwheat, making soba a must-try dish during your visit.
