I am so excited that you are taking part in our democracy. It will feel so satisfying to cast your vote! The next thing I’d say is to know your voting plan and know your ballot. This election is not just about voting for the next president. Depending on where you live, you could also be voting for your senator, your congressperson and for statewide propositions that affect your everyday life. Familiarize yourself with what your ballot looks like beforehand so you feel confident going in. Find out if your state has early voting options or vote by mail options before November 3rd. Talk to family, friends and neighbors who have voted before and ask them about their plans. Enjoy the experience and don’t believe anyone who tells you your vote doesn’t make a difference!”
