With seven people under one roof, Britney Morrow's home can get a bit hectic. When you live with five kids ranging in age from 9 to under a year, "a typical day for us is a balancing act," Britney said. "It’s never a boring day in our household!"
The Morrows’ school-year schedule is often crammed with after-school activities — everything from martial arts to physical therapy to dance classes. Not to mention, Britney still finds time to record family vlogs for YouTube, keep up with her fitness routine, and plan fun activities (and even a few pranks!) for her kids. With so much going on, the summer is when they get to enjoy some quality time together and celebrate the kids' accomplishments from the past year, from learning a new skill to getting praise from a teacher. "It’s really hot in South Carolina during the summer, so we spend a lot of time at the pool and doing water activities at home," Britney said. Blowing bubbles in the backyard is another one of the Morrow family's favorite pastimes.
Making sure each of her children feel special is crucial when you have such a big family, Britney said. "My advice would be to spend as much quality time together as you can," she said. No matter how busy she gets, she always makes an effort to spend one-on-one time with each of her kids — especially when there's something to celebrate.
Britney makes it a point to celebrate each and every one of her kids' wins, from good grades on their end-of-year report card to learning to ride a bike. Recently, Britney's oldest daughter started training for her black belt in karate and her 4-year-old enrolled in her first dance classes. "We strongly believe that every accomplishment should be celebrated," Britney said. "Not only are we proud of the kids, but they are proud of themselves as well, and rewarding them keeps them motivated."
One of Britney's favorite ways to celebrate as a family is by going to their local DQ® restaurant and letting each of the kids order off the DQ® Summer Blizzard® Treat Menu. "We are a big family and not everyone likes the same thing, so we love that DQ® always has different sweet treats to choose from to meet all their needs," Britney said. Her 4-year-old daughter might go for the Cotton Candy Blizzard® Treat, while Britney and her husband opt for the Brownie Batter Blizzard® Treat.

Since the Morrow family typically have so many appointments and activities to juggle, Britney said she makes sure to soak up every free moment they have during the relatively relaxed summers. "Going out for a sweet treat after a hot day to cool us down is one of our favorite summer traditions," Britney said. "We are always so busy during the school year, so being able to enjoy each other, good food, and activities means so much to us."
