Boticario
Even though beautifully designed bars abound in the trendy Palermo neighborhood, don’t expect to walk into just any spot for a great cocktail. Boticario, the 1930s apothecary-themed bar, is an exception. Honoring the pharmacies of yesteryear, behind the bar hangs a painting of Salvador Cortéz, the fictitious pharmacist who traveled the world in search of the botanical cure for all ailments, cures that now feature on the menu in cocktail form. The ever-changing menu features creative “treatments for the sick,” and past themed drinks have been inspired by concepts like astrological signs and the color wheel.
