The Milliken 57kv Transmission Line is an electrical transmission line that ran approximately thirty-two miles from PGE’s Faraday Powerhouse Switchyard in Estacada, Oregon to Stephens Substation, in Portland, Oregon. It traveled through the communities of Estacada, Barton, Boring, Gresham, and Portland, and in portions of Clackamas and Multnomah counties. The Milliken 57kv Transmission Line, completed in Fall 1911 under the direction of the Portland Railway Light and Power Company, was the first steel-tower supported transmission line built in Oregon.
