to the classroom and enhances the student experience. The student population comes from
a range of countries including: Australia, China, Ghana, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, United States and many, many more!
In keeping with LCC’s mission,
the CSGL challenges students
to make connections and move through a continuum, from awareness and understanding
to empathy, advocacy and action, with discussions that cover such diverse topics as: migration, climate change, politics of exclusion, Indigenous rights and environmental sustainability. In the six years since its creation, 103 students have earned the certificate.
