College Charlemagne has five mission values, which are such an important part of what they do – it’s not just who they are but what they live daily with students and staff.
1
Academic excellence
In pursuit of educational goals that are a part of an enriched path, their students must consistently deliver the best of themselves. Academic excellence is a sign of sustained effort, rigor at work, and surpassing oneself. All their teachers are keen to give their students a taste for learning and intellectual curiosity, pushing them to always want to know more.
In a climate of mutual aid and support, the College staff aims to provide its students with the means to develop social skills that promote the sharing of ideas in mutual respect. They believe this is how young people learn
to respect others and their environment, and to develop a sense of belonging and social responsibility.
2
Social achievement
College Charlemagne guides students through lessons of personal discipline by providing them with tools they will have to use throughout their school career and their personal lives. Teachers encourage students to work independently and with integrity, as well as to acquire
a sense of responsibility and pride in a job well done.
3
Personal discipline
By encouraging its young people to take responsibility of adopting a healthy lifestyle, the College wants students to respect themselves as individuals and members of a society. Health, prevention, and well-being are therefore present in everyday school life through academic programs as well as student life activities.
4
Health and wellbeing
In addition to these four values instilled in its students, College Charlemagne provides education in French. Because language is regarded as a privileged tool of expression and communication, they believe good knowledge of French is essential to the progress of the student.
