Promoting Collaboration and Idea Sharing
One-third of the Co|Lab building is dedicated to co-working space that brings employees and industry professionals together for brainstorming, education, training, and meeting sessions. The space has been strategically designed to be open and shared to promote the communication, collaboration, and crosspollination of ideas essential to innovation. There are areas for working individually, in small groups, and in large groups offering variety and choice for any workstyle or activity.
As soon as you walk in the door, you’ll find open social spaces with comfortable lounge seating and a large community table for informal gathering and collaboration. A kitchenette bar in the lobby welcomes employees and visitors, offering a refresh space that promotes the chance meetings and impromptu conversations that support connection. On the second floor, a small “huddle room” provides an area of privacy and reduced distractions for more focused group work. Moving up and out, the rooftop deck with wi-fi offers additional opportunities to collaborate, while connecting with nature. Lockers are also available, allowing people to securely store personal items while they are working or visiting Co|Lab.

Project Summary
This is Price Modern’s largest single volume project. A dedicated team was formed for design, specification, as well as inside and on-site project management. Delta provided dedicated delivery and installation crews.
Customer Goals / How We Met Goals: This LEED Silver facility was under construction throughout most of the delivery and installation, providing many challenges for the Delta Installation crew.
Lifts were required for all deliveries above the first floor because elevators were not yet installed. Furniture was being installed in one tower, while the adjacent tower was under construction without any form of separation. The schedule was so aggressive that an off-site warehouse was leased to house certain products, giving the crew tight control over the delivery schedule. Price Modern rented a trailer onsite to provide a home base for installation and project management leadership providing immediate on site access to decision makers and providing them an office on site to resolve issues with the factory. Michelle Meekins was the lead project manager on this project keeping only one other account (NGES) during the duration of this project.
This tremendous effort was acknowledged by NGA as a Star Partner Award was given to the Price Modern Team as they were recognized for their professionalism, timeliness, and schedule balancing in the most challenging of situations. A proven process and constant communication with all of the project stake holders enabled the team to complete a nearly flawless installation.

Owings Mills Campus Project Summary
This two-building bundled project was a part of a six-building campus renovation program. Price Modern provided design, specification, project management and other value-added services. Both buildings are LEED Silver facilities. All building projects are being delivered using IPD (Integrated Project Delivery). The IPD process reduces waste and cost while improving productivity. The Integrated Project Delivery main goal is to create a team effort integrating owner, architects, engineers, managers and subcontractors. Price Modern and Haworth have support T. Rowe Price projects from San Francisco to New York and as far south as Tampa, Fl. A broad range of Haworth products have been provided including movable walls, workstations, private offices, conference and collaborative furniture. The relationship has spanned more than three decades.

Project Summary
Price Modern provided procurement and Installation of furniture at Watt Tieder Hoffer and Fitzgerald ‘s (WTHF) new location in McLean, Virginia. The WTHF construction law firm was seeking solutions that would provide access to daylight and views, employee engagement, privacy, technology accessibility, open environment, collaboration and teamwork, ergonomics, and most importantly increased productivity and improved employee morale.
Planning, selections, and purchasing began in August 2015 for floors 10 and 11 with installation continuing through June 2016. Price Modern worked closely with WTHF’s project team to deliver, install and place products such as Haworth Compose workstations and private offices with X Series storage, Haworth Very task seating, Tuohy Xpect private offices, Wallgoldfinger conference tables, Prismatique team tables, as well as a variety of ancillary products into this beautifully renovated law firm. Price Modern also reconfigured recently installed mill work file banks and relocated existing Partner’s furniture, refinishing and installing into the new space, fulfilling all WTHF’s requirements.
Price Modern’s proven processes and constant communication with all of the project members enabled the team to complete a nearly flawless installation to both floors. The Watt Tieder Hoffer & Fitzgerald project was successfully completed on time and with minimal punch requirements achieving total client satisfaction.

Currently Price Modern provides an exclusive and dedicated, on-site team of five people to support $10 - $14 million of annual furniture projects. Allegis Group’s program includes corporate space as well as the moving, opening and renovation work for all of it’s sales offices around the country.
To support this customer’s large inventory, Price Modern leverages our 155,000 sq.ft. warehouse in Baltimore, MD as well as 4 sub-contracted warehouses strategically located around the country. All 5 warehouses have been linked to one inventory database using the SnapTracker asset management tool. This allows us to access inventory when strategically appropriate while managing projects in more than 40 states and 5 Canadian cities. Price Modern adds additional value to this customer by supporting workplace strategy research and maintaining a tight standards program.
