When undergoing fertility treatment, diagnostic testing typically takes place after your first discussion with your physician. The Progyny Fertility Testing Program allows eligible Progyny members to complete testing ahead of time. This will save you time during your appointment and allow you and your physician to have a comprehensive discussion about your treatment options and next steps.
Both you and your partner (if applicable) must be active and eligible Progyny members to proceed. You should have received an email from Progyny inviting you to learn more. If you have any questions, please reach out to your PCA.
Am I eligible for the program?
If you are ready to move forward with testing, call your PCA. They will send you an authorization and more information on how to schedule with our testing partners. If you’re not sure which tests are right for you, or if you’ve previously undergone diagnostic testing, call your PCA to learn more.
Do I have to complete the tests before my appointment?
You do not have to complete this testing before your appointment. We encourage you to consider completing it prior to your appointment to have a detailed appointment with your provider.
How do I schedule testing before my appointment?
The services completed under the Progyny Fertility Testing Program will be subject to your standard financial responsibility similar to other Progyny covered services. Speak to your PCA if you have any questions.
Yes! Just let your physician know that you completed testing through Progyny’s Fertility Testing Program and are still awaiting your testing results. If you receive results prior to your appointment, be sure to bring them with you to your appointment.
