For almost 80 years, the Campbell Soup Factory was synonymous with Etobicoke and the area of New Toronto. Built on farmland, the New Toronto neighborhood developed into one of the first major Toronto employment districts during the 1930s.
QuadReal is restoring the site’s economic and cultural importance in the community, while preserving its history and art deco architecture. To pay homage to the iconic site, we are retaining the southern façade, and incorporating it with the new building.
