We can help you by: producing suitability reports, enabling you to present a solid case to discuss with your clients helping you transition your existing clients onto the Quilter platform completing the ‘heavy lifting’ of research, key features, and cost analysis providing expert support and guidance on the advice process.
Your dedicated regional director will: give you time and support to bring you up to speed with systems and processes, lead generation, how to deal with clients, and product knowledge support you through any daily challenges you’re unable to resolve for yourself give you the support and guidance you need to develop your business help you meet annual targets, including driving forward campaigns and initiatives such as advice quality give you the opportunity to attend local regional meetings where you can stay up to date, learn, and provide feedback.
Unique in the marketplace, our national retirement plan is designed to give you a comfortable transition into retirement while making sure your clients continue to receive reliable and consistent service. Unlike our competitors, we also support you to grow your revenue and assets over time with paraplanning support, business development support, training and development, and a regular flow of quality leads from our affinity relationships. In combination, this will allow you to focus on advice and service and then exit with the confidence that you will be rewarded for having delivered robust and risk-appropriate advice. You also have the assurance that your clients will continue to be appropriately supported.
As a self-employed adviser within Quilter Financial Advisers, you’ll have an anticipated level of investment and pension new business based upon your prior performance and business plan requirements. You’ll receive a financial benefit for outperformance at an individual level over a given period. The more your outperformance, the greater your financial reward. So that you can stay on track, you’ll be issued with your individual objectives and regularly updated on your progress.
Our affinity partnership programme helps you build your business by providing an ongoing source of client enquiries. You’ll also be given the option to join our team of presenters and attain leads by delivering online and onsite financial education presentations, with packaged presentation material and full support from our dedicated events team. To allow you to manage your capacity and resources on an ongoing basis, you have the flexibility of joining the programme to receive enquiries on a month-to-month basis, if you wish. Our affinity team is currently trusted and retained by over 30 partner organisations and corporations across the UK, with some of our partnerships spanning over 15 years.

Our onboarding process has been designed so that you become part of our network as efficiently as possible. No matter where your business model currently sits, we work to ensure you and your clients undergo minimum disruption.
When you join Quilter Financial Advisers, you will be assigned a business support manager to work closely with you and help you on your journey to 'competent adviser status'. Beyond that, and under the guidance of the Head of Adviser Relationships, all advisers, whatever the stage of their career, will have the opportunity to work with their business support manager on how they develop their business.
1. Understanding you
We seek to understand what you’re looking to achieve, exploring what you can expect and how to overcome any challenges to your success.
4. Refine
To ensure your relationship with Quilter Financial Advisers continues to provide you with value, we formally check your progress every three, six, nine and twelve months and refine and enhance our support for you where required. This also gives a forum for any suggestions and improvements that we can discuss and implement together.
2. Planning
We explore how you will trade, get paid, and benefit from the right level of support for your business. Together, we’ll create a simple plan with clear accountabilities and responsibilities to ensure your transition to Quilter Financial Advisers goes smoothly. We’ll also agree on the terms of our relationship.
3. Implementation
After submitting your membership application - which includes referencing and due diligence – you’ll receive an invitation to an induction event. We’ll also create a plan to achieve competent adviser status for advisers, agreeing regular milestone review points so you know what to expect.
