Lenders will check your credit history. Bring statements for open loans, credit cards, + any bankruptcy docs if applicable.
Assets and Savings
Gather the last 3 months of bank statements, investment records, proof of your down payment, and if applicable, a gift letter documenting any financial assistance.
Property Information
Be ready to submit a signed purchase agreement for the new home, the lender should arrange an FHA appraisal, which you'll want to keep for your records.
Miscellaneous Documents
If relevant, bring your divorce papers with alimony or child support details, a green card, or any documentation for other properties you own.
