When you buy, sell or lease a property with a REMAX agent you can help make miracles happen. A REMAX agent who is participating in either program will designate your home as a Miracle Home or Miracle Property. A Miracle Home listing will display a specially branded REMAX For Sale sign, which shows prospective buyers that their purchase will also contribute to a good cause in the neighbourhood they will be joining, and Miracle Properties will be advertised locally, regionally, nationally and across North America. Once your home or commercial property sells or leases, your agent will donate to your local CMN member hospital on your behalf.

Participating agents in the REMAX-exclusive Miracle Home and Miracle Property Programs donate on behalf of their clients after each property sale or lease. In 2025, REMAX affiliates across Canada donated more than $5.1 million to Canadian children’s hospitals foundations. When people buy, sell or lease a property with a REMAX agent, they can help make miracles happen. A REMAX agent who is participating in either program will designate the property as a Miracle Home or Miracle Commercial Property. A Miracle Home listing will display a specially branded REMAX For Sale sign, which shows prospective buyers that their purchase will also contribute to a good cause in their new neighbourhood. Miracle Properties are advertised locally, regionally, and nationally across North America. Once the home or commercial property sells or leases, the REMAX agent donates to their local CMN children’s hospital foundation on their client's behalf. Since REMAX and CMN first partnered in 1992, Canadian REMAX agents have donated more than $110 million to their local children’s hospital foundations through the Miracle Home and Miracle Commercial Property programs. CMN raises funds and awareness for 13 children’s hospital foundations in Canada, and donations stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric equipment and research.

Miracle Home Program & Miracle Property Program

A parent’s voice is meant to be a baby’s first sound, but for little Ireland, the world was silent. Born with profound deafness, she was diagnosed at six months old through newborn hearing screening tests. Doctors at HSC Children’s Hospital in Manitoba knew waiting until after her first birthday for cochlear implant surgery could delay her development. Determined to change the standard, the team researched, planned and performed a groundbreaking bilateral cochlear implant when Ireland was only 10 months old — the youngest ever in the province. This breakthrough surgery has since helped other babies hear sooner and thrive in their early development.

Meet Ireland

Thanks to donor support, child health research has advanced newborn hearing screening, developed breakthrough tools like cochlear implants and provided the surgical equipment needed to perform life-changing procedures on children. Today, Ireland continues speech therapy and loves listening to birds and singing with her little sister.
