Latinas Shaping the Music Industry
We're proud to present the third edition of our Major Mujeres list, celebrating Latinas in the music industry who are redefining the game and paving their own paths. Curated by our team of women staff and contributors, this list honors the visionaries, creatives, and power players shaping the future of music.
One recurring theme in our conversations this year was the absence of mentorship. Many of these women have had to navigate the industry without guidance from someone who shared their experiences or backgrounds— either because those mentors didn’t exist or because they didn’t know how to seek them out. Despite this, they’ve built careers, carved out spaces, and, in many cases, become the very mentors they once needed.
At Remezcla, we recognize that representation isn’t just about who’s in the spotlight— it’s also about who’s behind the scenes making things happen. With this annual initiative, we aim to highlight their impact, bridge the gaps they once faced, and inspire the next generation of Latina leaders in music. We invite you to explore this year's Major Mujeres below, and click on their links to learn more about each of them.
