Enjoy the beautiful weather or foliage that the season brings! Find a local corn maze, pumpkin patch or apple orchard. Sit back and relax at a bonfire and make some s’mores (Here’s 10 delicious recipes to try!). Sit out on the porch and fix yourself one of these pumpkin themed cocktails!
1. Get Outside
Don’t worry if you’re not creative, we have stencils to help! Once they are carved, set them up with a tea light to flicker light into the night sky.
2. Carve the Pumpkins
Gather your movie snacks like popcorn, drinks and treat yourselves to some Halloween candy early. You can always pick up another bag later!
3. Host a Horror Movie Night
Try some of these recipes like pumpkin bread or pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies! If baking isn’t your thing, use some pumpkin seeds from carvingand make a tasty trail mix. Bonus: You can add some of your favorite Halloween candy.
4. Bake some Goodies
Hold your own costume party with friends, family and neighbors. Have everyone wear a mask (or have a theme) and send them on a scavenger hunt for some entertainment.
5. Throw a costume Party!
- Place items around the house or use landmarks around the neighborhood (wherever you are hosting). They can be household or Halloween themed items like a skull, pumpkin, scarecrow, etc. and make up riddles on how to find them. Example: An item placed in a garden or corn field to deter scavengers. (Scarecrow)
- Place treat bags at each landmark or item for the groups to collect. Whoever comes back first, gets the prize!
