Josh, saved at least 3 one on ones and kept the score from being more cricket like. As always his handling was spot on , his shot stopping excellent only kicking out of hands could be worked upon.

With 2 players not bothering to turn up or let anyone know, the day started badly and continued along those lines, the main positives from the day were the fine Samosa's offered as a after match belly filler by the very hospitable Punjab management team.
Boro having no subs and being forced to field 49 yr old manager brown were always going to be up against the wall.
Unfortunately Punjab were exactly the wrong team to play against when under strength, they controlled possession , broke with pace and look well worth their recent results - they will be challenging for the title come April.
Those Boro players who were at the ground battled admirably and didn't stop trying til the end. Punjab went in 2 up at half time, Boro's only chance being a penalty shout when Leo Hall was barged off the ball in the box, but to be honest Punjab had a clearer penalty moment denied 5 mins earlier.
The second half followed a similar pattern Boro huffing and puffing and Punjab breaking swiftly and dangerously , so it was no surprise when another 2 goals followed midway through the half.
Better things are to come with Boro's squad finally starting to be available after summer holidays and work commitments, and its about time!
