SAIC is collaborating with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute Consortium to develop science-based and empirically backed guidelines and standards for AI measurement and policy, laying the foundation for AI safety across the world. This will help ready the U.S. to address the capabilities of the next generation of AI models or systems, from frontier models to new applications and approaches, with appropriate risk management strategies. NIST does not evaluate commercial products under this Consortium and does not endorse any product or service used. Additional information on this Consortium can be found here.
SAIC is the founding member of the George Washington University Trustworthy AI Initiative corporate partnership program. Through this partnership, SAIC will engage with industry thought leaders, cutting-edge research and subject matter experts to inform current AI safety efforts while envisioning the future of trustworthy AI.
SAIC’s internal AI Council, AI risk management working groups and AI governance initiatives provide ongoing leadership as we operationalize our focus on ethical AI practices across the organization.
Our Koverse zero trust data platform ingests, indexes, stores and secures structured, semi-structured and unstructured data of varying types, sources and sensitivities in one place. With both role-based and attribute-based access controls and logical segmentation of data, including by security classification level, Koverse enables multi-level security management and the co-location and commingling of data. It establishes a foundational data layer to enable faster, more efficient analytics to drive decision-making. Users experience a unified data mesh, secure interoperability and accelerated access to only the data that their security levels and permission attributes allow.
FEATURES
Data synchronization that allows users in different locations, with separate instances, to share data and receive updates while keeping the data owner and user security controls intact
Secure video storage at a frame-by-frame segmentation level with video content playback that is based on the authorized user’s attribute-based access level
Edge capability that provides users with enhanced security controls, while enabling the collection, security and processing of data locally in denied, disrupted, interrupted or limited edge environments

Benefits
Tenjin's collaborative AI development, training and deployment environment enables integrated mission teams to train, test, validate and deploy analytic models in a cohesive way that accelerates missions. Tenjin leverages the foundational data layer that Koverse establishes, and its open architecture and cloud-agnostic integration offer extensibility and system interoperability. Mission operators without data science backgrounds can develop data models, perform exploratory analyses and build visualizations, while seasoned data scientists and AI engineers can continue to do custom model and application development on the same platform.
This accelerator is a set of algorithms, plugins and applications that understand and categorize what is occurring in images and video. It answers customers' most sought-after algorithms like optical character recognition, facial recognition and object detection.
Computer Vision
As Tenjin add-ons, our mission accelerators are ready-to-use, mission-focused AI algorithms and tailorable analytic models to help your people gain actionable insights for critical decision-making and problem-solving. Operationalize AI in just weeks and transform your data efficiency and effectiveness.
Mission Accelerators
Our natural language processing accelerator works with multiple document types and file management systems. It allows users to gain insights by extracting and analyzing text in documents and images. It can also analyze audio and video files.
