Powering and advancing the future of government
SAIC stands out for our ability to integrate the best technologies and components from our portfolio with those from our partner ecosystem into outcome-focused mission solutions. What also sets SAIC apart is our dedication to solving the national imperatives — Undersea Dominance, Border of the Future, Citizen Experience, All-Domain Warfighting and Next-Generation Space — which are the U.S.’s most critical challenges and drive everything that we do each day in integrating solutions for our customers.
While we are headquartered near Washington, DC, Huntsville is our second-largest location and where we are innovating and delivering integrated, critical mission systems including counter unmanned aerial systems that help defend our military bases and warfighters, protect our airports and commercial aircraft, and secure our borders. In Huntsville, we are also executing on systems integration for NASA’s Global Positioning System, the U.S. Navy's MK48 heavyweight torpedo and other systems of national importance.

Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS)
Huntsville is the center of our CUAS support for customers’ programs, where we provide technology-agnostic integration into various drone detection, identification and mitigation missions that are critical to national and global security. Our open-architecture approach to CUAS integration creates a vendor-agnostic, mission-flexible and future-proof path to solutions — and it is one that we have refined and proven in the field with mission experience gained in Huntsville.

Digital Engineering
We are transforming engineering services for our customers with our digital engineering platform, which integrates industry-leading engineering tools and processes into a lifecycle digital thread and unified data environment, to ensure faster delivery and better efficacy of mission-critical systems. Our rapid-deployable ReadyOne platform enables teams to quickly build digital engineering ecosystems and is a 2024 BIG Innovation Award winner. Our Huntsville team and customers both leverage ReadyOne to innovate, save time and reduce risk and cost in systems development and fielding.
Secure Cloud
As the primary industry partner for Cloud One, the Department of Defense's enterprise cloud, SAIC works with mission systems owners, cloud service providers and commercial technology partners to provide infrastructure, applications and systems. We work with our Huntsville customers to leverage Cloud One and its authorization to operate to reduce their development requirements, cost and time to field operational capabilities. Gartner has recognized SAIC as the #1 vendor of application managed services and the #2 vendor of infrastructure implementation for the U.S. government.
Data and Artificial Intelligence
Using a zero trust approach and combining it with our data science expertise and integration know-how, we have federated and centrally organized data from across domains and security classification levels for defense and intelligence customers in support of all-domain warfighting. We are also delivering operational and edge AI-driven analytics to rapidly provide unprecedented situational awareness insights for mission decision-makers. Our solutions enable mission operators with no data and AI experience to rapidly deploy analytic models and machine learning for mission tasks. We are ready to integrate our open-architecture data management and AI solution stack into CUAS and other missions where tactical data fusion and processing meets the speed of need.
Leadership Greater Huntsville
Dozens of our employees are #SAICproud to have participated in Leadership Greater Huntsville's programs to identify, educate, inspire and connect aspiring leaders to serve the region. SAIC is a community trustee for the nonprofit organization's annual Leadership Flagship program and the presenting sponsor for the Challenge Program, which supports students from all Huntsville, Madison and Madison County high schools. The program is helping to develop students’ leadership skills, increase their understanding of the Greater Huntsville community and enable them to experiment with leadership opportunities outside the classroom.
Building Homes for Heroes
SAIC was honored to support Building Homes for Heroes in giving retired U.S. Army Private First Class Teuila Lobendahn and her eight children a mortgage-free forever home in Birmingham, Alabama. Lobendahn served in Afghanistan and was exposed to burn pits, which left her with debilitating injuries and post-traumatic stress disorder. She was honorably discharged in 2008 after receiving the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, NATO Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Bronze Service Star and the Overseas Service Bar. Each year, SAIC provides at least three mortgage-free homes to our veteran heroes through Building Homes for Heroes, and our Huntsville colleagues clamor to support this organization, which changes lives and families.
Manna House and Feeding America
Over the last 10 years, SAIC has proudly raised nearly $2.5 million in our Feeding America partnership through corporate-matched employee donations and fundraising efforts. This means that our people have been an important part of Feeding America's ability to deliver approximately 25 million meals to those in need. Every September, as part of Hunger Action Month, SAIC’s Huntsville team mobilizes with time and generosity, volunteering at local food banks that include Manna House. Our employees work together to package nutritious meals for delivery to families in the region.
Alabama School for Cyber Technology and Engineering
SAIC understands the need for the workforce to support our customers’ missions. We have made a $1.5 million commitment to the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering (ASCTE) towards its mission of educating the future cyber technology and engineering workforce. ASCTE is one of Alabama’s leading high schools for STEM — science, technology, engineering and math.
Located in Huntsville, ASCTE is the nation’s only high school to integrate cyber technology and engineering into all its academic disciplines. ASCTE is a public, residential magnet school for students throughout Alabama, and tuition and housing are provided at no cost. The school also provides students with hands-on opportunities to connect with professionals in their STEM fields of interest.
SAIC's donation and partnership with ASCTE represent how industry, government and academia can work together to invest in students. Earlier this year, SAIC also announced a $50,000 contribution to support female athletes at ASCTE with supplies and equipment. We continually seek to make a difference in the well-being of Greater Huntsville in many ways, all year long.
