Our extensive supplier relationships allow us to procure, orchestrate and integrate high-TRL/MRL, best-in-class COTS solutions from the market that meet your specific mission requirements and systems architecture needs, while you own your technical data packages and design control authority.
We use our mature and proven systems engineering capabilities within our DE ecosystem to drive design, development, simulation and analysis of new solutions. It starts with our award-winning MBSE process and then continues with industry-standard engineering and product lifecycle management tools, which are combined with our own innovations in AI and VR. Using our digital thread backbone, we integrate the management of resources, suppliers and performance data in production, quality and manufacturing into our engineering solution, which ensures execution accuracy, traceability and completeness.
We have over 1 million square feet of flexible, dedicated and on-demand production, quality and manufacturing capabilities, which include wire-and-cable and circuit-board fabrication and assembly, machining and metal fabrication, additive manufacturing (3D printing) and prototyping lab space, and integration and testing space.
Our teams perform DE-integrated manufacturing readiness assessments and production readiness reviews to mitigate quality risks at the systems solution’s beginning phases. Our teams also conduct design analysis to ensure solutions are producible by the manufacturing and supplier ecosystem. We use 3D scanning to perform inspection of products for quality assurance.

Our supplier management ensures availability of COTS products and spares for your solutions. We perform vendor selection and product vetting directly all the way to delivery.
When we serve as your lead systems integrator on programs, we act as a design agent and optimize solutions for systems-of-systems modularity while filling design gaps and removing vendor-lock, supply and IP challenges. We have a long history of supporting systems integration for inherited designs as well as performing technology transitions to COTS solutions, which mitigate component obsolescence, accelerate innovation and reduce lifecycle cost.
Our advanced 3D scanning capabilities digitize legacy products and components to set them up for upgrades and modifications using our MBSE and engineering toolset in our DE ecosystem, while initiating customer-owned technical data packages. We have scanned hundreds of platforms and digitally modeled thousands of parts, including TS/SCI-level solutions, for DE-driven modernization work.
We ingest technical and program data into our DE ecosystem for digital thread management and configuration control. Our DE tool suite rapidly analyzes and addresses inherited design gaps and quality risks at the start of modernization and technology insertion efforts. Using a cutting-edge method called generative design, we conduct AI-driven design analysis for systems component optimization to improve performance and, when possible, enable production with cost- and time-efficient additive manufacturing (3D printing).
Our machining, electrical and metal fabrication, and additive manufacturing can rapidly produce functional prototypes for testing and evaluation. Our rapid prototyping is aligned and integrated with our low-risk development capabilities that also leverage virtual-, augmented- and mixed-reality simulation and digital twins in our DE toolset.
BUILD TO PRINT
We produce and deliver systems components and products to exact specifications in technical data packages by leveraging our domain and mission expertise as well as our digital thread-integrated production, quality, manufacturing and supply management. The product lifecycle management, resource planning and manufacturing execution tools we use as part of our DE ecosystem ensure timely, accurate solution deliveries and manage as-ordered, as-planned and as-built data.
Our digital thread-driven lifecycle approach to programs eliminates siloed, disconnected processes and systems between engineering and production. Impacts of solution changes are visible and traceable for all departments and stakeholders and propagated to their data in real time. When feasible, we use model-based definition, an innovative method that streamlines documentation and process artifacts to reduce data discrepancies that cause rework. All this ensures delivery and performance to spec, and keeps design, engineering, manufacturing and production aligned and responsive.
Our approach “shifts left” the evaluation and selection of COTS products and vendors by our procurement and contract management teams during engineering as well as production planning. Our procurement engineering helps drive parts sourcing for availability, performance and cost discipline, and we leverage requirements data as well as production and quality data as part of our supplier management to improve quality and performance.
