Modal Safety and Mission Assurance
We have experts who assess the safety, reliability, risks and hazards of defense missions and human spaceflight programs.
SAIC performs safety and mission assurance for NASA, the Department of Defense and the intelligence community’s spacecraft and payloads. At Johnson Space Center, we delivered real-time operational support throughout all phases of the Artemis I mission, evaluating flight products to identify potential impacts to safety requirements. We perform system software assurance for NASA’s Independent Verification and Validation Program. By applying agile concepts to verification and validation work, we quickly assess systems that are critical to preserving human life and valuable assets in space.
